Snatch Server is an incredible app for controlling your PC with your iPhone. It allows you to use your iPhone or other iOS devices to control your PC from a distance. There is quite a lot that this app can do for you. For starters, you can use it as a wireless mouse. When the Snatch app is installed on your iPhone, simply dragging your fingers on its screen will move your computer mouse pointer. Since the iPhone connects to your PC using wireless network, instead of bluetooth or radio frequencies, you are not limited to being in front of your TV or computer for it to work. As long as you are in range of your router, you will be able to use it. You can also use Snatch to type from a distance, but the true capabilities of Snatch go beyond that.
I use Snatch to control Plex on my Mac. But, you can customize the application to control pretty much any application. You can launch them, close them, add custom buttons to your iPhone that call custom actions, and more. I didn't do the customization for Plex. I downloaded it from a third-party website. And there are so many Snatch templates out there that users create and share online.
Performance-wise, Snatch is incredibly easy to set up. It always worked for me. It has good security settings and it uses Bonjour in Windows to automatically detect iOS devices.
